Main areas of work
- Organisation and management of the EDP-supported library information system
- Scientific literature searches (print and online publications) in national and international library and information networks
- Organisation and management of the Ministry of Life library network
- Searches for international Web resources pertaining to AWI activities, to include evaluation and documentation thereof in support of AWI research projects
- Conducting basic and advanced training on the topic “research and scientific information management on the WWW” (e.g., specialised search engines, scientific information systems and portals, agricultural consulting, school libraries, access to online journals, Web 2.0, Social Media, etc.) for the Ministry of Life, Austrian National Library, University of Vienna Library, University College for Agrarian and Environmental Pedagogy, and Austrian Library Association
